Jason Mraz's Five Borough Tour
Jason Mraz is playing Lehman Center, The St. George Theater, Queens College, Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts and Radio City Music Hall. Depending on the venue the tickets start as low as $25.
Photoville on Pier 5
Now through September 28th explore Photoville on Pier 5 in Brooklyn Birdge Park. It's a free outdoor photography exhibition using shipping containers as to house the artwork. There are also workshops and events.
New York Art Antique and Jewelry Show
Now through Sunday check out the New York Art Antique and Jewelry Show at Park Avenue Armory with amazing treasures including Pope Paul VI's Diamond Cross valued at around $1.9 million. Tickets to the event are $20.
Toshi Reagan at Le Poisson Rouge
New York singer/songwriter Toshi Reagan is once again organizing WORD ROCK & SWORD: A FESTIVAL CELEBRATION OF WOMEN'S LIVES. It runs now through Sunday with the main concert happening Saturday night at Le Poisson Rouge. Tickets are $20.
Urban World Film Festival
The Urban World Film Festival is on now through Sunday celebrating, exploring, and promoting multicultural cinema. Most of the screenings take place at the AMC 34th Street Theatre. Individual tickets start at $15.
2nd Annual PUEBLO HARLEM
The Afro Latin Jazz Alliance in Partnership with the Harlem School of the Arts Presents the 2nd Annual PUEBLO HARLEM. It takes place September 20, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Herb Alpert Center/Harlem School of the Arts. Free admission.

At the Art Quilt gallery check out Velda Newman’s SCALE + COLOR + VISION. The exhibtion runs now through October 18.
