Black Friday can be exciting but also stressful. NY1's Stephanie Simon found some great ways to make it more relaxing and stay in the holiday spirit, and all for a good cause.

We all know holiday shopping can be stressful, but at this moment I can't think why - of course that might be because I'm getting my toe nails done.

Here at Creeds Collective in SoHo it's about enjoying the shopping experience while also helping others.

"Creeds Collective is a holiday pop-up shop and and what we've done is we've curated socially responsible brands: made in America, giving back to charity, eco-friendly, empowering women. And also we have a nail bar through Primp and Polish so in the midst of all the hustle bustle you can go up and get your nails did," said Creeds Collective co-founder Evi Phillips.

The co-founders of Creeds Collective hope shoppers can relax a little bit, knowing they can find great items and do some good.

"Dharma eyewear. They are sunglasses and optical wear, all $99. They give 5 percent back to Giving Optometry Sight which helps underprivileged teens and adults and children have access to eyecare in developing countries," said Phillips.

"Feya Candle, they are soy based candles and for every candle you buy they donate a meal to a child in need," said Stephanie Halphen, co-founder of Creeds Collective.

"Handbags, amazing. Angela and Roy curated these amazing silhouettes and each color signifies a different cancer disease-fighting organization that they give back to," said Phillips.

For more of that spa atmostphere check out affordable natural skincare, Thann.

"The scent that you smell is our signature scent, which is aromatic wood which is essential oils of orange, tangerine and nutmeg. It's a very revitalizing joyful scent," said Teddy VanDusen, VP of Thann USA.

Creeds Collective also gives back 10 percent of its proceeds to Global Citizen, "a non-profit that aims to eradicate extreme poverty worldwide by 2030," said Halphen.

So this holiday season can be about giving and giving back. ClientIP:,, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
