A Florida woman was arrested in connection with her 7-year-old stepdaughter's six-story fall from an apartment window in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn last week.

Diana Metellus, 19, is charged with assault, menacing, reckless endangerment and acting in a manner injurious to a child.

The girl, who also lives in Florida, broke her pelvis and punctured her lungs in the fall on July 10.

Investigators say Metellus' blood tested positive for marijuana, methadone and amphetamines.

Metellus and her stepdaughter were in Brooklyn visiting family at the time of the incident.

Both police and the Administration for Children's Services are investigating the case.
