Chukwuma Duru, 27, a substitute teacher at Bronx Career and College Prep High School in Morrisania, was charged with forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child.

The Department of Education says the incident happened at the school on February 9 and involved a student there.

Education officials also say the alleged incident does not appear sexual, but Duru has been removed from the school.

Bronx Career and College Prep High School is located at the same campus as Dr. Richard Izquierdo Health and Science Charter School, where a teacher was arrested for allegedly punching a 12-year-old girl last week.

The latest alleged forcible touching incident comes on the heels of three recent high-profile arrests of school employees this month.

In the most recent incident, Wilbert Cortez, 49, was arrested and charged with allegedly fondling two young male students at P.S. 174 in Rego Park where he worked.

Teacher's assistant Gregory Atkins, 56, is accused of molesting a young boy at P.S. 87.

Another teacher's assistant, 40-year-old Taleek Brooks, is facing child porn charges for allegedly filming students at P.S. 243 in Brooklyn.
