President Barack Obama's singing voice has reportedly given singer Al Green a financial boost.
The president's serenade of "Let's Stay Together" at the Apollo Theater earlier this month went viral the next day.
According to Billboard magazine, weekly sales of "Let's Stay Together" have increased by 490 percent.
Nielsen Sound Scan says 16,000 downloads were purchased in the week ending January 22.
Billboard says that was the best week for a song since the company began tracking music downloads in 2003.
The viral version of the president's rendition has been viewed more than four million times.
