Comedian Jerry Lewis was briefly hospitalized after he became weak at a Friars Club event in Midtown Manhattan on Tuesday night.
The 86-year-old entertainer's blood sugar level dropped and he was taken to the hospital as a precaution, according to his publicist.
Lewis is doing fine, according to his publicist, and had been very busy and simply forgot to eat or drink.
Currently, Lewis is directing rehearsals for a new musical based on his 1963 film "The Nutty Professor."
