Nintendo is warning parents to keep children under six years old away from its new Nintendo 3DS system.
A company spokesperson says the device can affect the development of children's eyesight.
Nintendo says young children should only use the device in 2D mode.
The 3DS goes on sale in Japan in February and in the United States and Europe in March.
