Fall is a great time to travel, and with a trio of deals on the horizon you'll be able to get the most bang for your buck. NY1's Valarie D'Elia filed the following report.

Simply watching the leaves turn isn't enough in New Hampshire. Not at the iconic Omni Mt. Washington resort in Bretton Woods. It's all about positioning.

"Most people when they come here they look for the view that is behind me right now, which is the view of the Presidential range. I think the insider hint really is the fact that the peak of foliage, the absolute best color that we have is on the Mt. Rosebrook mountain range which is out front where our ski area is," says Craig Clemmer of the Omni Mt. Washington Resort.

The Omni Mt. Washington Resort is one of the few remaining grand dames on the New Hampshire hotel scene. Surrounded by nature, swaddled in luxury, and hugged by an expansive porch, it is every bit a landmark treasure.

The Rest and Recreation Package includes either a $100 spa credit, 18 holes of golf with cart and lunch, or a canopy tour priced from $165 per person per night.

For those who don't want to gallop as far as the White Mountains of New Hampshire can find a stately getaway at the Gideon Putnam in Saratoga Springs, New York.

Rates for a golf getaway start at $254 based on double occupancy.

The healing waters of the historic Roosevelt Baths & Spa is the epicenter for the Wellness Weekend from October 26 through October 28. For $350 per person, based on double occupancy, this includes a two-night stay with three meals.

Midweek can be your lucky charm at the buzzy new Revel Resort in Atlantic City.
