It was a runway of love at the Honor and Rebecca Taylor shows this season. NY1’s Michelle Park filed the following report.

It’s a show born from romance just in time for Valentine’s Day.

"It was inspired by a love story between a pretty boy and an exotic woman from South America or Central America," said Giovanna Randall, designer for Honor.

The Honor runway was awash with purples, deep blues, and neon highlights showcased on wide leg jumpers, lace-covered ensembles, and picture perfect prints.

"The prints were inspired by ethnic prints from different indigenous tribes," said Randall.

The exciting collection of streamlined silhouettes had starlets gushing.

“I love it. I love the pattern, I love the design, I love the fabric. It’s so comfy,” said actress Shallene Wooley.

Actress Kristen Chenoweth was seeing eye-to-eye with the designer. She had a love story of her own.

“A blonde love affair,” said Chenoweth.

The color palette for Rebecca Taylor this season was a little bit more muted, but sticking with that Valentine’s Day theme, it was still a romantic and feminine collection.

This season, Taylor had a bit more of a bad-girl in mind.

"Our girl this season has a slightly darker heart. She’s very poetic and romantic," said Taylor.

From dark plums, to rich emeralds, to Bordeaux and charcoals, it was a moody collection, but one that we will likely see all over the streets come fall.

Taylor said it’s those girls on the streets who help spark her creativity.

"Just being in New York helps. You see the girls here are so cool, so you are constantly inspired by what's around you," said Taylor.

That's what has celebs like Olivia Palermo and Louise Roe rocking her designs.

"I actually saw this on the runway last season and I just got really obsessed with, I don’t know if it is clouds, but it looks like cloud print to me. And I was like, really wanna wear that,” said Roe.

So whether you are the happy girl in love or the poet with a dark heart, these designers are sure to their way into your heart this fall.
