Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Boston Mayor Thomas Menino are scoring some Super Bowl ad time.
The pair teamed up for a "Mayors Against Illegal Guns" commercial that plays on the New York-Boston rivalry.
The two men are founders and co-chairs of the organization, which aims to cut down on trafficking of illegal guns.
Decked in their teams' jerseys, the mayors are pushing for what they call "common sense" legislation.
The ad will only air in Boston and New York during the Super Bowl.
