Yankee fans can now pick up jerseys and shirts of the team's latest superstar.
The first shipment of Ichiro Suzuki number 31 jerseys arrived at Modell's Wednesday and more are on the way.
The Yanks made a deal with the Mariners for the 10-time All-Star outfielder on Monday.
Modell's says the Ichiro merchandise has been in high demand since the trade was announced.
"We've had a whole bunch of people come in, buy the shirts, buy the jerseys for the kids, the parents, everyone," said Modell's employee Naomi Santos. "We had a family come in just going nuts, going 'oh my gosh, he's here, he's here.' So it's been really exciting. A lot of people have been coming in all week, asking for the jerseys, asking for the shirts. So we're really happy he's here."
Ichiro will make his home debut Friday when the Yankees host their arch-rivals, the Boston Red Sox.
