The Brooklyn Nets won't be the only local team to play in the first regular-season game at the Barclays Center.

The Nets will host the Knicks in first game of the season for both teams on Thursday, November 1.

The matchup is sure to draw throngs of Knicks fans but Brooklyn's Bourough President had strong words for any fans from Kings County who plan on donning the orange and blue.

"I want to be sure that you all understand this, from my lips: any of you that support the Manhattan Knicks after November 1, you are committing treason," he said.

The Knicks will play their home opener the following night against the defending champion Miami Heat.

Both local teams will play on Christmas. The Nets will host the Celtics, while the Knicks will be in Los Angeles to take on the Lakers.

The Knicks and Nets will also face each other at the Garden on Martin Luther King Day.

Linsanity will return to the Garden on December 17, when Jeremy Lin and the Rockets visit the Knicks.
