A city police officer has been arrested and suspended without pay for allegedly driving drunk.
Police say Roniel Dilone, 26, is charged with DWI, vehicular assault and refusing to take a breathalyzer.
They say he hit a parked car early Sunday morning at the intersection of Waterbury Avenue and Bruckner Boulevard in Throgs Neck.
Dilone, who was off-duty at the time, has been with the force for about four years.
He was not injured, but a passenger in the car suffered a fractured leg and shoulder.
Dilone pleaded not guilty.
This is the latest in a series of officers arrested for drunk driving.
Most recently, Officer Raphael Ospina was arrested after allegedly slamming his car into Tiffany's Midtown storefront earlier this month.
