The baseball diamond at Yankee Stadium is being turned into a gridiron.

Grounds crews are busy preparing for the first college football game at the ballpark.

The goal posts are already in place as the yard markers were being painted on the turf.

The old Yankee Stadium played host to plenty of college football match ups -- with the last being Grambling State versus Central State University of Ohio in 1987.

The new stadium's first contest will take place on November 20 between Notre Dame and Army.

The two schools met 21 times in the old stadium between 1925 and 1946.

In December, the stadium will host the first Pinstripe Bowl.
