Police are asking for the public's help finding a man wanted in connection with a triple stabbing in the Bronx.

Investigators say Lamont Macon, 38, forced his way into his ex's apartment located at 1255 Adee Avenue in Laconia just before 2 a.m. Sunday.

Investigators say he stabbed his ex, as well as the woman's 13-year-old daughter and 14-year-old niece.

The three were taken to Jacobi Medical Center where they are expected to survive.

Despite the attack, residents tell NY1 they believe the building is safe.

"The doors are usually locked so this is a surprise for me," said one tenant.

"They're usually locked so it's pretty secure," said another tenant.

Macon is described as being 5'11" tall, weighing 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about the case is being asked to contact Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-577-TIPS, by texting TIP577 to CRIMES, or by going to NYPDCrimeStoppers.com.
