A Bronx man was charged with manslaughter and assault after allegedly beating a 65-year-old school bus driver to death in the Mount Hope section of the Bronx earlier this month.

Police say Juan Delvalle was driving an Atlantic Express Transportation bus near Anthony and Echo Avenues when he accidentally hit the car of 28-year-old Joey Scott on June 11.

Investigators say Scott attacked Delvalle and took off.

Delvalle was taken to the hospital, where he later died of his injuries.

The medical examiner ruled Delvalle's death a homicide resulting from blunt-force trauma to the head.

Scott, who is being held on $250,000 bond, could face 25 years in prison or more if convicted on all charges.
