Yankee Stadium is being transformed for what is being described as the ultimate rock music spectacle, as Pink Floyd's Roger Waters will lead performances of his critically acclaimed show "The Wall."

Waters' graphic images will be projected on a 20 thousand square foot brick wall Friday and Saturday nights as he performs songs from Pink Floyd's 1979 album of the same name.

The musician has been bringing the show to arenas around the world since 2010, but this outdoor version is bigger than ever.

"We've done 186 shows already and still to this day I'm thrilled with it and get chills at certain parts of the show. It's just one of those shows, you know, once-in-a-lifetime thing," said production manager Chris Kansay.

Organizers said dozens of local workers were recruited to make the massive stadium redesign possible.
