Police are looking for the driver involved in a hit-and-run that killed a cyclist in the Bronx Friday.

Police said 18-year-old David Ellis was riding north on Webster Avenue Friday night when he was hit from behind by a Nissan Maxima.

The impact sent Ellis into the southbound lane where he was hit by an SUV.

Ellis was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators said the driver of the Maxima and his passenger got out of the car and ran off.

The driver of the SUV stayed at the scene.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
