A ten-year-old boy drowned in the Harlem River on Saturday.

Police say emergency personnel pulled Ebrima Wally from the waters next to Roberto Clemente State Park in the Bronx.

He was taken to Bronx Lebanon Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

"As they rolled him past, that's when I saw they had the oxygen on him and he started coughing up the water. And he moved his head a little bit, they put it back, they got him in the ambulance," said an eyewitness.

"One of the EMS workers, I'm overhearing, I'm eavesdropping, so they said he died in the EMS," said another.

Police say they do not suspect foul play, but are still investigating.
