Jury deliberations are underway in the corruption trial of City Councilman Larry Seabrook.
Jurors are weighing charges against Seabrook for allegedly sending taxpayer dollars to nonprofits he controlled and where he installed friends and family in so-called no-show jobs.
It follows a federal corruption case against Seabrook last year, which ended in a mistrial.
Seabrook's attorneys say the councilman was a victim and the nonprofits' employees are to blame.
