Visitors are flocking to the Bronx Zoo to welcome some new members of the World of Birds exhibit.
Three spur-winged lapwing chicks hatched at the zoo this month.
The species is rarely found in captivity, with only 35 across the country.
They are native to sub-Saharan Africa during the winter and migrate to the eastern Mediterranean for their breeding season.
