Reported Fire At 1 WTC A False Alarm, Officials Say

A reported fire at One World Trade Center this morning has been investigated with fire crews giving an all-clear.
The Port Authority says the New York City Fire Department responded to a call of a fire just before 8 a.m. on the 88th floor that came in from a member of the public.
Fire crews did not find any fire at the location.
Fire officials say there may have been welding going on at the site that led to the emergency call.
